HOLLYWOOD CASINO
TOLEDO, OHIO
This major casino project sits on the banks of the Maumee River near downtown Toledo, OH. The design integrated the placement of a 380,000 sf casino with a 2,450-car multi-story parking deck while successfully emphasizing scale and massing on a tight urban site. The Hollywood Art Deco inspired casino brand was seamlessly continued from the exterior to the interior. The project features 2000 slots, 80 table games, 160-seat buffet, 173-seat sports bar, 80-seat entertainment lounge including performance stage, 50-seat café, 158-seat steak house and exterior smoking lanai slot areas. The project was awarded a LEED Silver certifi cation. The fast-tracked project was opened in April 2012 with a construction cost of $168,000,000. While at a previous firm, RJTR staff members provided full architectural design and construction services including coordination of all engineering and interior design consultants.

RJTR has recently completed the design and construction of an expansion to the exterior gaming area and is currently designing a new interior casino bar.
